The mildiwinter has robbed the -ice racing fans of their usual winter sport and many would welcome colder weather. Mr. Arnold Weeks is now the proud owner of three lovely race horses. and almost every day one can see Mr. Weeks exercis- ing his trottera. Recently he has purchased, from the western county. a very promising young mare, Bonnie Ben. If weather conditions are favorable, we can expect some good racing at Milvale and Stanley Saturday evening saw the ,opening of the Fredericton rink. Quite a number were present when spring- tiold and Fredericton played a friendly game of-hockey. The game ended with a score 3-2 in favor of Springfield.
