MY- LYOKIS had 63 Votes less than his wo opponents combined. When de- ated by Mayor Rogers in 1910 he polled 1020 votes and this year he obtained 1126 with two opponents. The total vote in 1910 was 2145 and in 1912, 2315, an increase of 170. Mr. Lyons led in every ward and in each of the polls but three.. Of the retiring council the four of- ring for re-election, Couns Me- Kenna, Riley, Campbell and Tay- lor, were each successful. `R. H. Sberns in Ward one put up a strong light. and for a second time Conn. McKenna received a close call, being victorious by eight votes. The vote iolled was considerably larger than fe 'n 1910.
