Nova Scotia with its three big night racing plants again tops the list with al-, most 857 dashes. New Brunswick; second with 804 and Prince Ed-1 ward Island third with upwardsl of 330. There were also some 'natinee races held on various 19 of them was driven Chiasson and in three by J. Mac- Donald. Icluded in our statistics. At the same time we wish to point out that the tracks holding matinee races and the Halifax Commons have been the means of .giving education to horses that have afterwards performed creditably on the tracks where purse racing is held. The top dash winner is Bunny- mite 3, 2.00, an 8-year-old bay gelding by Bonnycastle, that was puI'ChBSed at the Harrisburg salt a year ago by James Ferguson of Sydney and passed into the hands of MacKinnon and Roach.
