Oils advanced yesterday alter one company raised crude prices, and London oll stocks advanced on the theory that increased Ameri- can prices would be reflected around the world. At Toronto TORONTO, Sept. $—(CP)—On the Toronto Stock Exchange base metals chalked up the best ad- vances today. Golds were quietly better and the few western oils trading were ahead. Noranda sparked the active base metals list with a gain of 1 1-8 at 51 3-4 and touching a new high at 52 1-2.
