The rumor that spresd was to the effect that the letter contained an explosive. This, however, turned out to be false: The man was guickly arrested by the police, and it turned out that his letter was only an appeal to Her Majesty to secure for him a new trial on a civil suit which he had recently lost in the courts. The prisoner is a German, who was not aware that his action was against the law. As it was evident that the man had no intention of doing any harm, he was dis- charged. — Big Tron Purchase.
