LITTER OF FISHER -The first litter of fisher born in this province came to light at the ranch of Mr. J. D. ltombough, Mount. Edward ltoad, last Tuosdiiy, 23rd inst. 'l`he parent fishers were placed in tho ranch last December. ’l‘he number in the litter is not yet known but the parents appear to hc satisfied that everything is itll right in thc litter ilcn which so fur has not been visited by liunians. it may be noted that the breeilIng` of fishers ln captivity has hitherto not been generally undertaken. so fur as is known there being only one other litter born in ii ranch. Mr. Rom- hougli owns only one pair of these ln- terestlng animals and naturally lic is delighted with the roeent addition.
