McDonald and was the last of the family to be called. Although in failing health for 50709 Years. she carried on her me 01' duty. as best she oould, un- til she found it necessary to en- ter hospital for treatment. Later she underwent. an operation in the Charlottetown Hospital, where the best of medical care and nurs- ing was to prove in vain. Due to her insistent wish to be at home, after several weeks she was taken. under the kind and efficient osre of her doctor, to Souris Hospital, Rihwe CVGYY comfort was given er. Constantly visited by Msgr. J. A. Murphy and his assistant, Rev. Pius Murnaghan, she prepared to SR meet her God. whom she served ions and faithfully in this world. having been fortified by the last rites of her church she passed peacefully away in the presence of her pastor and family. . Mooney. known to many 9-3 "Aunt?! 36118". was a woman of sterling character, kind, gen- erous and hospitable. Despite her busy life she found time to help the sick and needy, and,to work for the church, and community as an active member of various or- ganizations. At all times she pos- sessed a. strong inclination to favor the good points in those with whom she associated, and to look on the blight. side of life. Her faith and courage brought her through many trying times, as. when her husband predeceas- ed her 28 years ago and when death again in 1947 left her guardian oi five small grand- children.
