Ha chose for his text Luke 10-4 and preached a powerful and eloquent sermon upon the duties of eldership. At the close of the- sermon the following were ordain ed:—Messrs. W. C. Lawson, Alex ander Martin and Robert Home. The time-honored questions put to elders at their ordination were an- swsred by a most emphatic "l do“.
