MR. GEORGE BROWN. At New Haven, on July 20th, there passed peacefully to rest, George Brown, aged 57 years. The deceased had been in poor health for about three years, at times sutlering great distress which he bore with ‘Chrls'tian` patience and resignation. Everything that medical skill and kind nursing could' do was done for him but with- out avail. - The late Mr. Brown was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He was an affectionate husband _and father and a good neighbor.' He leaves to mourn his' sorrowingwidow, three ‘daughters-Minnie J., Elsie S. and Ethel L., and one son, James A.,. at home; also five brothers, John'W. of Northam, Aubrey of Charlotte- town, Emmon, Cameron and Henry residing in the -U-nited States, and three sisters-Mrs. -Samuel Auld, Kingston; M-rs. Daniel McRae, New york, and Mrs._ Richard Green, Cali- fornia. The sympathy of the confi- munity is extended to the sorrowisig family in their sad bereavement. The funeral service on Tuesday,-July 22nd,- conducted by his pastor, Rev. J. H. McHattic, was very largely attended, showing the esteem in which the de- ceased was held.
