IIAYS,State Assayer.” Directions,—-Artificial Slate : Mix the powder with pure Boiled Linsed Oil and a little Spirits of Turpentine, to the con- sistency of very thick Paint, and apylying with a common Brush, being careful to keep the mixture well stirred while put- ting it on.
