Both those ponds have been made into good fishing places again after being idle a I umber of years. Mrs. Nellie MacDonald is having her house. which has been vacant for a year. moved out on the pre- sent lot much nearer the high- way. The house will be turned and remodeled before she moves into it later in the summer. Her late father built the house after he retired as a O.N.R. section foreman years ago. Mr. Henry McLaughlin. well known contractor is at present erecting a new bungalow for Mr. Gus Aylward on the property of the late John Byrne. The Salutatory was then read by Ellie Gallant. one of the grad- uates. The evening program he- gan with the Primary Class who presented a short play in honor of the Silver Jubilee of their parish priest. They also sang two songs: Tripping Along, and Lea Fraiaea. The program of the Intermediate Department opened with a song. Joy is Everywhere. This was fol- lowed by a choral reading. The Voice of Canada. and a song. Le Drapeau d'Acadie. Elsie Gallant opened the pro- gram of the Senior Department with a piano selection.
