Two Men Streck and Killed at Kelly's Cross. A severe storm of thunder and lighting, accompanied by a heavy fall of rain, passed over this province yesterday, The storm hegao early in the afternoon and coutinued with slight interruptions wotil late at night. Tue telephone lines are considerably intertered with by reasou of the storm During the early part of the day communi~ cation wth some of the outiving sections was interrupted, and some “crosses” are reported m the city. The switch in the telegraph office was badiv damaged during the progress of the storm. About ten o’clock last aight Mr. T C James entered the office for a postage stamp and fouud the switch and the wood- work w@eout the same in flames. He at once extinguished the fireaod thas pre- vented whut might have been a serious couflagration. By aiweo’clock thie morn- communication with Sackrille was estatlished.
