Matheson. - ADMISSION TO GROUNDS The Vaudeville programme will again be staged in the Jones Live- stock Pavilion (Coliseum). The admission of 50 cents will give patrons access to the main grounds including the Vaudeville Show, the cattle, horses, swine, sheep and poultry exhibits. the Women's Institute Display and the Bill Lynch Midway. There will also be" numerous industrial. mer- cantile and agricultural display booths. The main building Will be open to patrons at all times. It is hoped in this way to streamline the racing program and at the same time assure a full vaudeville program. regardless of the weather. both afternoon and evening. Racing will follow. " The Jones Livestock Pavilion is a popular meeting place for visitors to the Exhibition. Seating has been installed and an audience of about fourthousand can be comfortably handled. A The building which is of all steel construction is 295 by 150 feet . and thus lends itself admirably to a show ring and for judging purposes. ADMISSION TO RACE TRACK The admission tothe race track will be 31.00 per performance for adults and 50 cents for children. It is proposed to have six night racing cards and at least three afternoon cards. ' HARNESS HORSE RACING For thrills, competition. entertainment and crowds there srefew athletic events in the Dominion to equal the Old Home Week harness racial Pmtrun. Islanders and fans from across the continent gain together during the week to make Charlottetown the mecca of the arness racing sport. Without a doubt they are representative of the finest specimens in the Province. There is bound to be keen com- petition and the judges will have a difficult time in deciding the "best of the show." . ' a . There will be plenty of fun and not a little excitement in the Jones Livestock Pavilion where the. judging is scheduled to take place. Horses will be judged in the first two days, Monday and Tuesday. followed by the cattle on Wednesday and until completed. It is expected large crowds will flock to the judging rings and show circle where the cream of Island Livestock goes on parade. Once again we take pride in the fact that our encouragement coupled with that of the Dominion and Provincial Governments, has brought our standard of quality so high that we are known throughout the length d breadth of the American continent as among the best producers 0 special types of horses. cattle, sheep, swine and poultry.
