No particulars were given other than that the sad_ai‘lair was an accident. The late Cadet Hacker was thirty-two years oi’ age and had enlisted with one oi’ the art- illery units in Charlottetown. Later he secured a transfer to the Royal Air Force and had been in training for some weeks before the fatatllty occurred. He was the only son of the late Mr. Thomas Hacker, Bed- eque, and was a splendid type oi' young manhood. He was a graduate B. S. A., of McDonald College, and only recently received his commission as Lieutenant.. He is survived by two sisters, Miss Sadie Hacker, in the employ oi- Messrs. James Paton & Co., Charlottetown, and Miss Louise of »Summerside. The father and mo~ ther had predeceased him by several years. The bereaved sisters will have the heartfelt sympathy of a wide circle of friends lu the sorrow that has suddenly overtaken them.
