The deceased was a native oi North Wlltshire, P. F. I. the daugh- ter 0i James and Mary Jane (Dam- erall) Cook. She came toMalden to reside in 1817 and was married in Maplewood since. she was mar- ried Dec. i8, 1879 to Mr. Oheever by Rev. Wm. F. Ober at that time pas- tor oi the Maplewood Ccnfiegat- ional church. She had made aple- wood her home for over 60 yealrs, rezidiruz at her present address 20 years and previously on Field St. and Broadway. Mr. Qyicever passed away on August 10. 1938. Mrs. Cheever was one of the old- est members of the Maplewood Methodist church and was active for many years in the wor}; oi ‘the Ladies Aid society. She is survived by one son. Wal- ter L.
