N pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this Island. made and passed in the 217th year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria, intitulod “An Act to consolidate and amend the several Laws im- posing an AsseSsmont on all Lands in this Colony, and for the encouragement of l‘lilueation :” and, also, of an Act made and passed in the Thirtieth year of the same reign, intituled -‘ An Act to amend the Act relating to Land Assessment :” I do hereby publicly notity the owners or occupiers ofland in this Island, for which the annual Assessment or Assessments charged thereon by the said recited Acts or some one or more of them, of nine shillings and two- pence, lawful money of this Island for every hundred acres of wilderness or unimproved lands contained in the several Townships and the Islands belonging there- to; and the sum of six shillings and eight-pence oi'liko money for every hundred acres of cultivated or improv- ed lands in the said several Townships and Islands as aforesaid; and at the rate of nine shillings and two-pence oflike money per hundred acres for wilderness or unim- proved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of l’rincetown; and at the rate of six shillings and eight—pence of like money per hundred acres for cultivated or improved Town Lots and Posture Lots in the Town and Royalty of l‘rincetown as afOi'eSaid; and at the rate of two shilling and six-pence of like money for each and every Lot in Charlottetown. formerly oc- cupied as the Barrack Square, in proportion to area on the same footing and to the same extent as ToWIi Lots in Charlottetown; and the sum of four shillings of like money tor each and every uncultivated or unimproved Town Lot.
