His many friends regret to see Rudy leaving as he was president of Almonte Young People's Union and also vice-pre- sident of the Montague Tennis and volleyball Club. He was a very active member in all sports and had a great interest in the welfare of the town. He was pre- sented with an expansion bracelet. Hopes were entertained for her recovery until early Sunday morning when she took another shock and passed away two hours later. She was a valued member uf the Central Bedeque woman's Institute and was always interest- ed in community welfare, ever ready to help her friends and neighbors in sickness. Freetown. which was reported stolen from its parking space on Water Street, op- posite Smaiirnarrs on Tuesday night .was recovered about seven o'clock Wednesday morning at North Bedeque, near the Lecky been advised that the truck was in that vicinity and after notifying the R.C.M.P. he proceeded to the locality and discovered a young man walking away from the truck.
