If only women were in power that all the worlds problems would be solved; No more world hunger, no more violent crimes and no more unhappiness. thas been preached over and over again how men lave messed up this world and how men seemingly lave caused most every problem since Adam and Eve. Men are responsible for causing everything from global warming to natural disasters. There is a general liew being born from all this that men are ‘‘bad’’ and hat women are ‘‘good’’. This has seemingly been the theme of feminism over ie past number of years. Many of these feminist woman have been preaching this as gospel since the beginning. Now lam not talking about the average oman who is looking for equality between the sexist, or! amall for that, but rather I am talking about the foman who seem to rather enjoy using half-truths and nisquotes to help prove their points. tis a sad fact but it is these people who are fighting o hard for the feminist movement that are helping to lestroy the movements credibility. How many of us io not picture the ‘‘typical feminist’’ as a mean, man- yating fighter. Although this is untrue, this is the Mage that many of the ‘‘extreme’’ feminist are giving the movement, It seems strange that although most minist do notalways agree with the extremist in the ovement that there are so few of them that vocally te this, Ifonly more would speak up and show that ey are not as radical as the extremist them maybe hat would start to revive the credibility back to the | ier minist movement that belongs there. | 1 11 am trying to say is that if more of the feminist ergy was use in trying to give a more accurate ; ture of the feminist movement then in trying to bllow meekly behind some of these ‘‘bold’’ leaders ho give a distorted ij ee to the movement yet ome re he movement would be a lot farther ahead in the long run. One last thought. It has been suggested that maybe some ofthe great minds of our past were simply men taking the credit for their wife's ideas. I guess Mrs. Einstein was the one who really came up with the theory of relativity and that Albert only got the credit because he was a man. If this is true , do we also give the credit for helping to develop the nuclear bomb to Mrs. Einstein?
