As a result of two centuries of exaggerated romanticism. young people now take it as an axiom it is better to be ruled by the heart than by the head. And they cannot be blamed for this. Every source of entertainment to which they are exposed gives them the impression that love is simply a matter of expressing emotions and satisfying desires in a state of unending and idyllic bliss.
