Yen had héén in poor health for -the past two years, his demise came suddenly. Q Mr. Yeo was born in Central Lot 16. oldest son of the late Lawrence Yeo and his wife Sarah Birch. who passed away only a few years ago in her 101st year. Mr. Yeo married Sadie Lylé in 1906. and lived in Centmal Lot 16 for 6 years. after which he pur- chased a property in North St. Eleanors. where he continued his successful farming until about 12 years ago, when he retired and moved to Summer-side. His first wife Sadie lived but a few years, leaving him with a small son Edgar. In 1918 he married Pearl Mar- garet Wright. the former Pearl M. Clark and from this union there were two daughters Wanda Mrs. W.R. Rayner of Summer- side. and Muriel Mrs. C.C. Olive of Rothesay. N.B. His two step daughters »a re: Gladys. Mrs. E.B. Ellis of Char- lottetown, and Francis. Mrs. K. A. Bruce of Abington, Mass. Others bereaved by his passing are surviving sisters and broth- ers, Eva, Mrs’. Leonard Picker- ing of Sherbrooke. Puncher at the P.E.I. Hlfififlibal on the miorniing,of May Still. Miss Puncher was the oldest daugihlter of the late James Adams Pun- cller and Hester Puncher of this cm y. A life memlber of the Woman’: Missionary Society of Trinity United Chu-nelh, she was always interested in the work of her church. She was A pioneer of the P. E. l. Telephone Company and served as "Chief Operator” previous to her retirement. She was greatly interested in art and music having taught music for many years and was of a quiet and gentle disposition. ALBERT DEWAR The death of Mrs. Albert Dewar of Brudenell, P.E.I.. occurred at the Kings County Memorial Hos- pital on March ziizh, 1953, follow- ing an illness or six weeks. She was in her 871th year. Born at Kingisbom she was the daughter of the late Wiutiani and Louise Macbonsld. she lived at Brudlénell since the time, of her marriaigc to Albert Dewar. Mrs. Dewar, who was of s ldndily and pleasant disposition, enjoyed a very wide circle of friends tlhroughourl. her lifetime. A mem- ber of the dhurcn of Christ at Montague. she was active in church and missionary work tor many years. Besides her many friends and noiginbons she leaves to mourn three naughtens Lily in Char - lottetown, Jessie in Vlsltuam, Mass. Florence. Mrsa Cad Stew- art, Montague and one son Jaanes in Brudenell. Her husband pre- deceased her several years ago as did also one son Eiv’-yn who had resided in Moose Jaw, sack. Her son William passed sway snontly sitter her dearth. _ Funeral services were conduc- ted from the Church of Ohrlst, Montague by Mr. Kenneth T. Norris. Mrs. Norris sang beauti- fullly the nyunn “Under His Wings”. other hymns sung dur- ing the service wens favorites of the deceased. "Unto the Hills” Jesus".
