PROVIDENCE, August 13- Plans of the Grand 'l‘runk for the estab- lishment oi' a terminal in this city, were advanced a step by the approval of the board of alderrilen of the lease to the South New England railway, ubsidiary of the Grand Trunk, of iart of the city's docks and land ad- joining at Field’s Point. The proposition to lease these docks to the Grand Trunk has al- ready been adopted by the common council. It new requires only the signature of the mayor` to go into eilect. The vote of the board was six to three. The lease of the docks is for twenty years at a fixed rental. While the board of aldermen were unanimous in favoring the lease of the cit_v's docks to the Grand Trunk, the terms of the lease caused dissen- sion.
