He sufiered a heart dials before his death trom which he never fully recovered. and Passed to ill: eternal reward in the early hours oi the morning. Born at Argyle Shore on the will day of March. 1371 he was the son of Angus MacDougall and his wife Catherine Darrach. He was a lifelong, resident of his ne- tive Island. His wide the former Maria MacDonald predeceased him three years ago. Taking over the farm formerly owned by his lather, he operated it successfully until his death. A member 0! the Church of Scot- luiri from childhood, he combined a cheerful dlmorition with a long and useful life. and leaves a place In the community which will be hard to fill. The hospihlity he ex. tended to all who visited his home will ever be remembered by a host of friends. He leaves to mourn his passing, one daughter and two sons, Dlilie-n. (Mrs. Glen Pink- ney) of Ottawa. James or Char- lottetown. and Neil on the horn - stead. Two sons predeceased hirzi, Gordon in 1941, and Lloyd in 1944. The iuneral was held from his late residence on Sept. 26. the service being conducted by Rev. J. H. Bishop. Many beautiful floral tributes expressed the sympathy of trlends and relatives who gathered at the largely attended funeral to pay their iinal tribute. Interment was in Argyle Shore Cemetery.
