At a recent meeting of the Association
of German Paper manufacturers Mr.
Coetges. chief engineer et the Acetylene
Gesel1~cliatt, Berlin, exhibited an acety-
lene gas lamp and lectured on the pro-
duction and properties of acetylene and
the apparatus used in its production,
He also disproved the generally ac-
cepted theory that the use of acetylene
is dangerous. and showed that accidents
are caused only by liquid acetylene, the
use of which is now prohibited in Ger-
Dladfly. ‘
MR. A- R. GRAY, M D., writing in
_the American Journal of Health says:
Samples ofthe soaps manufactured by
