MacKay, of MacKisy Garage, local dealer in the coast-to-coast Morris distribution organization. This is a. direct result of the lift- ing of the Canadian ban on the Britain. The first shipment of these cars to Eastern Canada ar- rived at. St. John. N.B.. recently on the S. S. Beaver-brooks, where a quantity was entrained im- mediately for Maritime, Quebec and Ontario distribution. Local automobile dealers and owne:s have evidenced a great deal of in- terest in these new British models, which have always been noted for their low fuel consumption and ease of handling both on the high- way and in heavy traffic. All three vehicles—-the "eight"; the “ten"; and the light delivery van —a.re slated for Charlottetown de- livery. The Morris car is the product of the famed Nuffield organization in Great Britain. whose’ aircraft-as- sembly line technique has made it well-known. Lord Nuffield. de- signer of the first Morris car. in- formed distributors for Canada that more than half the produc- tion‘ of his huge plant has been allocated for export. which will result in complete consumer dis- tribution.
