     A new project is being.sponsored by the.Nordic-skigfissociation at 
     
     Brookvale ProVincial Ski Park. T d feeders are new in place near 
     
     the Nordic Lodge for winter feeding of local hind: and-several 
     
     nesting boxes are also to be placed around the site for summer

     .chickadees for night-time shelterQ"' ' 
     
    
   
   
    
     Co-operating in this project are the Island nature-Trust who have 
     
     donated birdfeed and the Department of FO!§§§IY¢§QQ have built 
     
     the boxes and feeders and advised on locations; 
     
    
   
   
    
     The seed will be located in a large container in theglodge~foyer 
     
     and it i5“hoped-that;SRiers or any visitors.tq the site will 
     
     participate in keeping feeders full. 
     
    
   
   
    
     Besides the blackcapped chickadees and bluejaxs_onquxpects.to 
     
     see anywhere in the winter, there is the potential,at Brookvale 
     
     to find boreal chickadees, white and red breasted nuthatches, 
     
     pine grosbeaks, goldfinches, purple finches, pine sisken, brown 
     
     creepers; house finches, ruffed grOuse and manximorehnaRobert 
     
     Ferguson will be organizing a reporting mechanism for the site so
