He fell upon the frozen hubs in January, 18M, and injured the bone near the knee. In about @ week after his lex began to swell and pain bim very severely. At this time he had scarcely any fesh left on him. From this time till the fall of 1864, he could get abont upon cratches, the leg discharging all this time.
