Competition in the dairy cattle classes at the Eaetem King's Ex- hibition was quite keen yesterday as exhibitors in the Holstelns. Ayr- shire. Jersey and Guernsey classes divided honors before a good sized crowd of spectators around the show ring. The prize for showing the best dairy cow was won by Brent Stead of Bay Fortune with his well de- veloped Ayrshire. t J. Lincoln Dewar of New Perth and R. L. Burgc of St. Peter's top- ped the winners in the Holstein classes. Mr. Dewar won eight firsts. six seconds. a third anr a fourth as well as showing the champion male and female animals.
