     The following extract from the editorial column of The Charlottetown Patriot, is timely and pertinent: 
     
    
   
   
    
     There should be no misunderstanding or obscurity about 
     
     the questions involved. The alternatives are plain and un- 
     
     equivocal. ‘The new Temperance Act deals with methods 
     
     of purchase, To suggest that it authorizes the “opening 
     
     of bar-rooms” is fantastic and devoid of truth, and is equally I 
     
    
   
   
    
     as absurd as the delusion that Prohibition completely pro; 
     
    
   
   
    
     hibits....lt is hoped that all qualified voters will vote, and that 
     
     the result will be decisive....lt is also hoped that following i 
     
     the excellent and prudent attitude of the ProvincialWomefis 
     
    
   
   
    
     l Institute, voters will face the facts without emotionalism, 
     
    
   
   
    
     and that they will cast their ballots in accordance with 
     
    
   
   
    
     their experience, and observation of the various phases
