At a meeting of the local committee
of the Strathcona Trust Fund yester-
day, it was decided to purchase a
trophy from the funds at the dispoe
al of the committee and present it
for annual competition in rifle -shoot-
ing among the various cadet forces
of the Island when in camp each
yenr, commhncing with the present
camp. The members of the commit.-
tee are Lieut.-Col. Davison, Dr. Jas.
Warburton, Lieut.-Col. Dr. H. D.
Johnson (Hon'y Sec'y), Major Weekls,
Mr. R. H. Campbell (Superintendent
of Education), Dr. Robertson (Prin-
cipal of the Prince of Wales College),_
and Mr. G. G. Duily. At the meeting
yesterday, G01. Warburton presided.
The trophy will Lo competed for by
riflenien from the various corps oi
cadets that are encamlped, and ls 110

which the winning team belongs. The
