Almond Cake.—A cupful and a half of sugar, a cupful of butter, a cupful of milk, two eggs, two cupfuls of flour, a cuptul ot almonds, blanched and chopped; a tea- spoentul of cream of tartar, half a teaspoon- ful of soda. Cocoanut Custard.— Beat up three eggs, and stir them into two quarts of milk, add three cups of well-cooked crushed wheat, one and « half cups of grated cocoanut, and one cup of sugar; mix intimately, and bake fifty minutes in a good oven. Serve warn or cold. Cottage Pudding.—Three eggs, aca pfu aud a half of sugar, a cupful of sweet milk three teaspoonfuls of baking powder mixed with the flour. Flour enough to make it thick as pancake batter, Steam an hour, without removing the cover; if you remove the cover it will fall.
