It was brought out that soon after three o'clook on the afternoon of the murder persons in the house noticed that the ‘clock had stopped. Mr. Page then ect ‘the cicek. It was also brought out that on the dey oi the funeral tile clock was several minutes slow. -Edward Page, the father oi the murdered wonlali, testified last week that the clock lost one or two minutes every day, and that on account of some defect in the mechanism the weights frequently got tangled, thus causing the time piece to stop.
