June 20 —(CP)—- Receipts on Montreal livestock markets today were 99 cattle, 200 sheep and lambs, 744 hogs and 1,074 calves. Cattle were steady. calves and hogs firm, and lambs easier. The few cattle offered were mostly cows and bulls. Good cows made $5.50 with medium kinds $4.25 to $5 and common butchers down to $3.50. Canners and cut- ters were $2.50 to $3.25. Common bulls were mostly $4 to $4 50. Calves were in good demand and prices firm. Good veals made $7 to $7.50 with medium kinds from $6 to $6.50 and common light: veals down to $5. The bu‘.k oi’ the veals were sold between $5.- 25 and $5.75. Drinkers and light grassers were mostly 34.50. Lambs were easier.
