School on May. 16th this year, has left for Glace Bay where he will be associated with the Glace Bay Clinic. Dr. Mac-Donald was born in Cllarloivtel-o'wna twenty-two years ago and received his early ed- ucation at the Model School and Queen Square and then attended Prince of Wales College. gradual- ing from there with an Honour Diploma. in 1046. He immediately entered Dalhousie University and after successfully completing his course, received the degree of MDCM at the Convocation exer. cisee this year. While at Prince of Wales Dr. MacDonald was keenly interested in sport and was a valued mem- ber of both the basketball and ruizlbv squads. He kept up his in- terest while at Dalhousie and played with the University Eng- lish rugby team for several years. During the summers Dr. Mac- Donald was a. member of R. C. A. M. C. Officer's Training Corps and qualified for the rank of Captain in that corps. He intern- ed at various hospital-3, including the Barriclbiet Military Hospital. N. 5.. where he had been for treatment. All that specialists and Nurses could do was done, but God picked the little Bud that it may bloom in Heaven. The remains arrived on Monday evening. and after a short service at his home. Service was held in the Fredericton Christian Church on Tuesday afternoon where a large number of sympathizing friends gathered. The Service was conducted by words of comfort from the 14th Chapter of st. John. Hymns sung were: Mothers of Salem. when He Cometh and Safe In The Arms of Jesus. The Young, the loved. the beauti- ful Why must they pass away? Why must the flowers we love so much. The earnest decay? Jesus said. "Suffer the little children to come unto me." Besides his sorrowing parents. one brother, Gardiner and one sla- ter Eleanor are left to mourn. Pallbearers were: Carl Sharpe. Fonlon Macswaln, Bruce Murray and Ross Murray.
