Alberfon Town Council Meeting -The regular meeting of Alber- ton Town Council was held last evening with Councillors Nichol- son, Atkinson. Bonyman and Hardy in attendance. and Mayor H. E. Barbour presiding. Bills were approved and order- ed paid. Correspondence included a letter of appreciation from the village of 0'Leary for valuable assistance rendered by the Alber- ton Fire Brigade during the re- cent fire in the O'Leary Co- operative Store. Tax arrears were discussed and at least one town property is to be sold for back taxes. Following -a number of com- plaints regarding bicycles being operated on the sidewalks. the town policeman was instructed to issue a warning followed by con- fiscation of bikes for a second offense.
