During the greater part of the forenoon he amused himself by running about Queen St., fighting with imaginary opponents, and making himself a nuisance generally. The policemen endeavored to quiet him but he dis- regarded their advice, and started off at a teriffic pace for the Northern end of the city. The policemen became nettled at their advice being treated so contemptuously, and started after Macdonald. The chase continued, amid much enthusiasm on the pert of the spectators until Long Street was reached, where Mac- donald was captured.
