BF V119 beautiful home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Muttarl; of Carleton Siding- A social evening was given by the members and about forty alto- gether enjoyed a very pleasant evening. The evening's entertain- ment opened with the regular meeting with the President. Mr. Ted Dawson, in the chair. During the meeting a. beautiful solo was capably rendered by Miss Mary Muttsrt. After the meeting all present enjoyed about twenty min- utes of fun and laughter, this be- ing the reading of two humorous papers. which were read by ‘Miss Dorothy McDonald and Miss E1- eanor Bell. These papers were composed of jokes on the different members. Mr. and Mrs. Archibald were then escorted to the seats of honor by the president. Miss Mild- red Muttart than read the address, during which Miss Evelyn Bell presented liillr. Archibald with a beautiful Masonic ring, and Miss Miriam McDonald presented Mrs. Archibald with a bouquet of flow- ers, (he gifts of the society. Mr. Archibald then made a fitting re- ply, thanking the members for their present, and expressed his deepest regret at having to leave the Island. lvirs. Archibald also ex- appreci- ation. Everyone then joined in singing "For They Are Jolly Good Fellows."
