This novel event was sponsored by the ways mu Means Committee of which Mrs. W. C. Hoyt is the chairman and is composed of the following members: Mrs. Robert Suther- land. Miss Rosa Bell. Mrs. frees Garrett and Mrs. Christine Ag- new. A feature of" the Fair was the Mrs. Hoyt, Mrs. Chris Pickard, Miss Lillian Duchemin and Miss Isabel Storey as tho adept suc- tioneers. Miss Sybil Maclldillan was the lucky winner of the door -prize and Mrs. Marian Docken- dorif the special chair prize. A beautiful sultana cake, made and donated by Mrs. Hoyt was auctioned in the “Big Ben" fash- ion and was equitably shared by the four fortunate winners-— Miss Mona Wilson, Mrs. W. H, V, Dunbar. Mrs. Marian Dockendorff and Miss Noreen Auld.
