Buchanan Women's Institute spent a. delight- ful evening socially and a profit- able one financially when they held a parlor social at the home of Mrs. M. A. MaoLeod, Gloshvin on Friday evening. Dec. 30th with up- wards of 50 guests present. The house was decorated i with the Christmas colors that gave the so- cial its name, viz: Red and Green and gave every one the feeling that Christmas was still in the air. 111a guests were warmly welcomed at the door by the president and vice president of the Institute and as each one entered the different rooms and the eye caught. the lien- ners of “Welcome” the feeling of “Be at home away from home" was at once felt and continued s0 through the evening.
