     I-IEREAS. a. Writ has been issued tons, under 
     
    

    
     and by virtue of an Act passed 11’] the 14th year of 
     
     the reign of Her present Majesty, intituled “ An Act to 
     
     regulate the laying out and altering of Highways, and 
     
     of the Acts in amendment thereof,” whereby we are 
     
     commanded to enquire what damage or advantage will 
     
     accrue to those persons who are. interested in the lands 
     
     through which a certain new road is intended to he made. 
     
     from Hill River to the Dock and Western Road; we 
     
     do hereby give notice to all parties concerned. that we 
     
     will commence the execution of the said writ by attend- 
     
     ing at Ashley’s Mill, Lot 4, on Tuesday, September 7, 
     
     1869. at the hour of ten o’clock, in the ’forcnoon, and 
     
     from thence we will proceed through the said new line of
