Most oi us will have some special place in our thoughts and prayers at this time ior those men who gave their lives in two world wars. Remembrance Day has come and gone but that does not mean that our duty to their memory has been accompliahed. We owe them a debt of gratitude which we cannot repsy in two minutes of silence. It is a very heartening sign of our sincerity that we continue, despite the temptation to '--come disillusioned, to hope for the establishment or the peace which our soldiers fought. and died to achieve. II we should ever des- pair ot finding peace in the world. our betrayal of their cause would be very real. In the sacrifice of our honor- I-ble dead. there is the inspiration to unite us in a. common bond at admiration for their virtue and reverence (or their fearless love. In their willingness to die there is a lesson for Canadians. indeed for ell people. always.
