B., Jan. 9.- With another week gone by without snow, lumber operators in the cen- tral section of New Brunswick are anticipating a general lay-off in the next fe\v days, because of there be- ing insufficient snow for hauling. Operators who had considerable yardlllg to do are spinning this phase of the work out in order to keep the crews in the woods until the needed-snow arrives. Some of the lumbering firms will keep their men at work the rest of the week.
