SUMMERSIDE, December 20_ The Supreme Court at Summer- side resumed at 10.30' a. m. yesterday and His Lordship gave his charge tn the jury in the case of Martha Jen. ette Mcflallum vs. George Bowness_ On the conclusion of the Chief Jus- tice's charge the jury retired at 11.- 30. When Court resumed after dinner the jury came in and through their foreman announced that they could not agree. His Lordship asked the foreman 'if he thought there was any cliancu of them agreeing if they we;-u nent back to the room and the fore- man said he did not think so. The Jury. standing 4 for the uefemem. and 3 for the plaintiff. The jury were then discharged. While the jury were out the case of Ilev. F. S. Bamford vs Geo.
