-TEACHERS' MEETING.-A zen-
eral meeting of the School Teachers
of Prince County was held in the Agri-
cultural Hall, Summerside. on Satur-
day, May lst. Upwards of one bun-
dred teachers attended. The object
of the meeting was to gain a full and
definite understanding oi’ the School*
Garden and Home Project work to be
undertaken in many of the schools
this season. Prof. W. J. Reid. who has _
charge of the Agricultural Branch atl
Summerside opened the meeting with
.a few general remarks and then called
on Mr. Boulter the Inspector from-
East Prlnce. Mr. Boulter gave fitting
advice concerning the use of school
garden. and followed by giving all-‘
vice on the general training ot' pupils
to recognize quality and worth in their
work. Mr. Fraser, School inspector
for West Prince, was the next speaker
and heartily endorsed Mr. Boulter‘s
advice in all respects. Mr. Gallant, ln-
spector for Acadian schools, gave a
few fitting remarks on the adoption
and carrying out of n successful sum-
mer's work. Prof. Reid led the meet- ‘
ing into a few discussions of the gen- I
eral work as it affected the teacher
dealt with the Home Project at some ‘
