E. Lockerby of Malpsque. P. E. I.
J. E. Lockerby was ii. nephew of the
Rev. E. I-I. Ramsay and two years
ago conducted several services in the
West Highlands. He was attending
Dalhousie College'when he enlisted
two years ago, and has since been
with the 42nd Black Watch. The
News was given to 'understand that
a requisition had just been sent from
Ottawa. recalling the late J. E.
Lockerby to 'take a commission and
attending to recruiting in Prince
County, P. E. I. The death of this
gallant young man proves .ii sad blow
to his relatives. and the News and its
readers will extend their deepest
sympathy to the sorrow stricken
ones.

friends, among them being Mr. and

ved. Among the 'many wedding gifts

the groom being a conductor from that

terday and needless to say was glad,
