Mr. John Westaway narrowly escap- ed death when the steering gear of his car broke. The car turned over three times and crashed into a tele- phone post. Mr. westaway was thrown out of the car and ‘ was picked up a short time afterwards in an unconscious condition and taken to the office of Dr. Pnston Maclntyre, where it was found that he sustained injuries to his chest, arms and legs.
