August 10th. The deceased had been bles- ed with good health until only six days previous to his death, when he was stricken with pneumonia and so rapidly did the dread disease de- velop that in spite of all medical skill and kind nursing he peace- fully passed away on Wednesday, Auugst 10th, at the age of eighty. ‘There are left to cherish his memory and mourn his‘ lossa sor- rdwing widow, one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Nicholle, Murray River, one son, Joseph, on the homestead. and a brother Andrew in New Bruns- wick, also eight grandchildren. During his short illness he was frequently visited by his pastor, Rev. William McCabe, who admin- istered to him the last sacraments and final benediction of the Roman Catholic Church of which the dc- ceased was a faithful and devoted member. He was also visited by Rev. Cornelius Lsndrigan. -, The funeral which took place on iAugust the 12th, was largely at- tended. A Requiem High Mass was celebrated in St. Paul's Church by the pastor, Rev.
