The meeting _was opened by Mr. Howard Court, Super- visor of Schools. The following of- ficers were then elected: President, Miss Bessie McLeod; Secretary, Miss Annie McDonald; Press Committee, Miss Annie Donnelly and Miss Mar- ion McDonald;_ Programme _Commit- tee, Miss Florence McDougald and Miss Mary Donnelly. The President then called upon Mr. Court, who spoke for a brief period on the neces- sity of such meetings to the teaching profession in a province where the Teachers’ Training Course is so limit- ed. Mr. Court then gave a very in- teresting and instructive demonstra- tion on the use of the sand table in teaching geography, history and liter- ature. He is hopeful that in the near future n sand table will be installed in each school in his Inspectorate. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 12th. At this meeting Oral Reading will be discus- sed. There will also be a. Question Box. Each teacher will ask at least one question, preferably on the subJ~l ect discussed at Training School, (Patriot please copy). THE MINISTERIAL ASSOCIA- SPECIAL Breakfast Bacon. llb.
