Provin- cial Commissioner. gave A most. interesting and informative report of the Dominion annual meeting which she attended last May in Winnipeg. A special feature: nf the meeting was the presentaiion of the Award of Merit to Miss Gladys Hart. In- tcrnationsl Commissioner. who has been active in Guiding for twenty years. The presentation was made by Mrs. T. W. L. Prowse and Miss Mona Wilson. who complimented Miss Hart on her splendid Guiding record. A coniprehensive report on the year's camping was given by Miss Suzanne MacKinnon. Provincial camp adviser. Two successful camps were held this past sum- mer with an attendance of over one hundred. The Prince County camp was held at Fernwood. while the Queen's and King's County camp was at North Ruslico. Outdoor Guiding was featured. giving many Guides on opportun- ity to pass proficiency badges. Miss Mackinnon exhibited a plan which had been prepared by the National Parks Branch proposing a site at Stanhope for a Girl Guide camp. National Camp Advance information on the National Camp to be held at Con. naught Range. Ottawa. July 14-25. 1951, was given by Miss Lillian Duchemin. Public Relations Com- missioner.
