Montreal district potatoes were not coming on the market as liberally as formerly and prices hardened. Quotations today were 40 to 60 cents pcr 80 lb. bags, depending upon quality, whereas last week the general prices were 35 to 40 cents per bag. More New Brunswick po- tatoes of fine quality have arrived and were selling today ex track at 70 cents per eighty pound bags. E88 prices also advanced today.
