The St. John evening Times points out
that although there are about fifty
manual training departments in conncc-
tion with public schools in thc Maritime
Provinces, St. John has none. This is

manual training is now everywhere
recognized. St. John ought to wake up.

meet on 14th February, and this will

liquor law by the Government. In the
present state of public feeling on the
ternperance question in Ontario the

spicuously as “a black eye for \Vhlt;ney."
